IOCL Recruitment 2025 Selection Methodology

The selection process will vary depending on the position applied for. Here’s a breakdown:

• Junior Operator (Post Codes 101 to 123) & Junior Attendant (Post Codes 201 to 204):
  • Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) – An objective type test comprising 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The total duration of the test will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
  • Stage 2: Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT) – This test is qualifying in nature.

• Junior Business Assistant (Post Codes 205 to 208):
  • Stage 1: Computer Based Test (CBT) – An objective type test comprising 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The total time allowed will be 120 minutes.
  • Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – This test is qualifying in nature.

In the CBT, there is no requirement for typing or writing content. The test will focus on assessing your knowledge through multiple-choice questions.
