Eligibility for Mukhyamantri Kamdhenu Yojana

- SC/ST Farmers: Farmers from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes can apply for the scheme.

Kamdhenu Yojana Selection Process
1. Application Process

Applications should also be submitted via the GOSUGAM portal. Along with the application, applicants must attach the relevant documents and send them to the respective Block Veterinary Officer (BVO).
2. Field Verification and Geo-Tagging
Once the applications are submitted, the Block Veterinary Officer (BVO) will carry out the Initial Field Verification. This is done by the Block Level Inspection Team (BLIT), which comprises the following members:
- BVO
- Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (VAS)/Assistant Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (AVAS)
- Concerned Livestock Inspector
During the field verification process, the team ensures that the proposed dairy unit is feasible and that all conditions for setting up the unit are met. Additionally, the Geo-tagged photographs of the land (for applicants opting for a shed) or the existing shed (for those opting without a shed) will be taken by the BLIT. These photographs, along with the Initial Field Verification Report are uploaded to the GOSUGAM portal by the BVO.
3. Application Forwarding to CDVO
Once the field verification is completed, and the BLIT’s recommendations are received, the BVO forwards the applications to the Chief District Veterinary Officer (CDVO) through the GO-SUGAM portal for further processing.
4. Final Approval by District Level Committee (DLC)
The CDVO will compile all the recommended applications from different blocks and present them to the District Level Committee (DLC) for final approval. The DLC, notified under notification no. 834/FARD, dated 21.01.2023, is responsible for approving the list of eligible beneficiaries.
5. Issuance of Go-Ahead Letter/Final Approval
Once the DLC grants approval, a Go-ahead letter will be issued to the eligible farmers. This letter, electronically generated on the GO-SUGAM portal, marks the official approval of the farmer’s application and their selection under the scheme. After issue of go-ahead letter, the farmer can construct the cow shed. After Completing all eligibility , they will get subsidy amount in their bank account.
