As per Odisha Govt News , If Ration card e-KYC is not completed by January 31,2025 the ration card of family will be deactivated, or beneficiaries will not receive ration supplies. So far, 49 lakh beneficiaries have not completed e-KYC. Officials are assisting people residing in other states with e-KYC. If you are outside means out of odisha contact officers and complete your kyc. Once e-KYC is completed, new ration cards will be issued, stated Minister Krushna Chandra Patra.
Ration card e-KYC: Ration cards will be Cancelled without e-KYC.
Guidelines regarding ration cards have been issued by the Food Supply Minister. Complete Ration card e-KYC immediately: e-KYC has been made mandatory for all members registered under the ration card. This ensures that truly eligible beneficiaries are not deprived of government benefits. If e-KYC is not completed by January 31, the ration card will be Cancelled.
The state government will Cancel the cards of those who fail to complete the Ration card e-KYC process within the stipulated period. Beneficiaries are advised to visit their respective ration centers (ration dealers) or Panchayats to complete the Ration card e-KYC process.
So far, approximately 86% of the state’s ration cards have completed e-KYC verification. Through e-KYC verification, around 40 lakh ineligible beneficiaries have been identified. Each district has identified around 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh ineligible ration cardholders.
