PM Internship Scheme – A big news for the young men and women looking for internships. The application process for the second phase of the Prime Minister’s PM Internship Scheme 2024-25 has now begun. If you missed applying in the first phase, now you have the opportunity to apply.

Interested candidates can visit the official government website pminternship.mca.gov.in to apply for the Prime Minister’s PM Internship Scheme.

The last date to apply is 12th March 2025. In this second phase of the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme, a total of 1 lakh candidates will be selected.

PM Internship Scheme Eligible Candidates:

1. Age: Candidates must be between 21 and 24 years old (as on the last date of application submission).
   • Must be of Indian nationality.
   • Must not be employed full-time or engaged in full-time education.
   • Candidates enrolled in online or distance learning programs are eligible.
2. Educational Qualifications: Candidates who have:
   • Completed High School or Higher Secondary School.
   • Possess a certificate from an ITI.
   • Hold a diploma from a Polytechnic Institute.
   • Are graduates with degrees such as BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.Pharma, etc.

Ineligible Candidates:

• Graduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs.
• Those holding qualifications such as:
  • CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MBA, or any master’s or higher degree.
• Those undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship, or student training under Central or State Government schemes.
• Those who have completed apprenticeship or training under National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS).
• If any family member’s income exceeds ₹8 lakh for FY 2023-24.
• If any family member is a permanent/regular government employee.
